REZONANS

The darkness of the acoustic guitar in the first minute of the opening track let's intend that this album is quite different from the long series of ethnic-ambient albums based on the egyptian stuff. The crescendo of noise brings us quickly into the old industrial metal of the first albums of Senmuth.

There is the usual distortion kit, the rhythms good for a rave party, and Valery's distorted voice as in Cognitive Discord or better as in "No More Sense", that's one of the darkest albums that he has released. Annie Red Hat is uncredited but I think to have heard her voice here and there.

I can say that after so much ambient, sometimes very good as on "Planetary Dust" I'm pleased to hear some of the old metal even if Senmuth appears to be more original and interesting on the ambient side.

All the tracks are quite similar and there's a sort of continuity between them even though they don't fade one into the other.

The exception is "Многомерная Реальность" that Google says means "Multidimensional Reality". This song is halfway the ambient and the metal sides of Senmuth and is the only track on this album that's really worth to remember.

All the rest is average stuff so it means that the rating is close to 3 stars and I round it up also because it's downloadable for free and if you don't like it only some of your time is at risk, not your money.
