2 stars The second album from Glass Hammer. Glass Hammer is an American band with a pretty big discography. Their start was a bit modest though.

Perelandra is an hour with US symphonic prog. The music can be compared to Starcastle and Yes. The music is keyboards dominated with some guitars adding additional textures. Most of the music is instrumental and most of the instrumental bits borders to new-age music. Other songs also dabble into AOR.

Although a massive improvement from the debut album, Glass Hammer has yet to find themselves on this album. They dabble into a featureless new-age desert and then turns around and want to be an AOR band. All this on this album, sixty minutes of it.

The music is not particular good. But it is still an improvement on their first album though. Glass Hammer is getting there.
