3 stars I used to love it, but I seem to dislike it more as the months pass. But why ? My friend Felix (also known as The_Jester in progarchives) gave me this album for a couple of days along with Émile Jacotey by the same band. He said to me that this album and Émile were pretty good. I had the same reaction, but when I showed this band to my PARENTS, they disliked it. Maybe it's because I put more songs from Émile Jacotey than songs from ADDD, which isn't so bad. It's a good album that is sometimes ruined by the over try to sound like Peter Gabriel vocals by Christian Décamps, which are irritating to many listeners (sometimes including me). The music is a mix of Genesis, King Crimson and children's lullabies (which is true because sometimes, the music is so happy). Now a walkthrough of the songs: Godevin Le Vilain is a dark opener, which starts well the album. If only the lyrics were less childish, it would be a better song. Les Longues Nuits D'Isaac has an heavy opening section, but I think I heard this song before in some other songs. It is not their most original song. Si J'étais Le Messie is very original, and the lyrics are very controversial and funny. Some lyrics were never thought of. Ballade Pour Une Orgie is hummm, very sexual. It is pornography disguised as an inoffensive ballad. Exode is very joyful, not for my tastes. But the guitar solo saves the song. La Bataille De Sucre has idiotic lyrics and a dark soundscape that is great. Fils de Lumière is the closest thing to a pop song in this album. Not for my tastes. Au-Delà Du Délire is another children's lullaby that turns into the best Jean Michel Brézovar guitar solo. So the album is sometimes good, sometimes bad. But it is too french for my tastes.
