5 stars This album is Asgards masterpiece. It was the first one I heard, and was a revelation. It was one of the first prog albums from the 90's I heard (along with Spock's Beard "Beware Of Darkness") and I liked it immediately. It has many moods, from very heavy to light and airy, and the vocals are absoluetly terrific. Grosso has a unique voice with great range and power, that has a romantic quality to it that I fine captivating. I think he is the best part about this band. Still, the rest of the band are quite good, and the songwriting is highly interesting and somewhat innovative. Even though they are what I would consider "neo prog", they set the standard for me by which all other neo bands are judged. And all the others fall well short, IMO. In any case, their best album by far and sadly their peak as well. A fantastic album for those that like adventurous music with many moods and dynamics, in a somewhat "neo prog" style.
