4 stars This is one of the best of the italian prog music. they mixed very well the folkish touch that all the italians bands have and the truly progressive feel. The use of Acoustic Instruments; flute, violin and clarinet; are well mixed with the guitars and bass. The music sometimes sounds very classical and others very hard rock Influenced, the keyboards sounds good but sometimes out of the music context they are playing. The thing i can see that differs to the other italian bands is that they dont try to put too much Adornments on the music and they balance very well this Components. Il Tempo Della Gioia also feel very nostalgic in a italian way and stronge in the overall context; too bad it only last 34 minutes. It could be a masterpiece if they focused more in long compositions.Although is a solid record and it will please to any italian prog lover. Highly Recommended to prog fans in general. 4 stars Excellent addition to any Italian/folk prog music collection.
