5 stars This was an album that has stuck with me since I was about 5 years old (Being 18 Now). I had a copy on CD and I had made a tape out of it with the old boom box. I had a small Tape Deck Walkman (Remember, its the early 90's), and would show them this album at recess, they would give me funny looks.

To this day this album had been played and replayed, since I believe it is one of the most epic live albums to date. As soon as you hear Ian Paice's drumming right from the start, this album kicks it off into high gear with 'Highway Star'. Child In Time is absolutely stunning, and in my opinion, is much better than the original. There was also a rumor that someone was shot, towards the end of the song with a huge bang. I don't believe it since I think it was just an amp blowing up or something. Nonetheless its an awesome sound.

Some interesting points in the album is phonominal version of 'Lazy'! The Jon Lord's organ intro is excellent, and this song has a slightly Jazziness to it, which plays out nicely. Also the 20 minute version of 'Space Truckin' is stunning! It is filled with excellent organ and guitar. A fantastic version in my opinion.

My first review, and hopefully more to come :D
