2 stars A cool debut. Into grindcore, this is a good album. It sounds like oldschool grind - short songs, sounds from movies, low pitch, massive blast beats and fast riffage. But different than Exploiting Dysfunction (their next album), this album have no memorable song for my head. Something that I really like about them, it's the randomness of some riffs. It's fun and laughable, very pleasent for my ears. The vocals are pretty gross, and some screams are very 'splatter' based. Cephalic Carnage music is very noisy, and it is a good point for me. You will find strange passages, and even jazz times, listening to this album. This is how oldschool grindcore are and how it should be!
