4 stars Trying to return to the good sources.

Le Orme is stripped here pop stage the previous fifteen years, and attempts to return to its wonderful beginnings. Something obvious is that the instrumental quality is intact, like the voice of Tagliapietra. The keyboards take most of the limelight, even running synthesized electric guitars.

Musical piece is a 36-minute, concise and effective. I guess that most of the low ratings are due to his short time and his light music without dark atmospheres. Rather transmits joy and beauty.

Good instrumentals led by the piano, and accurate and lucid melodies. There is no outline of dissonance or harshness. Aggiornado or updated sound, but effective. In the next decade the group do two albums in the same direction, and best yet. However, Il Fiume is a work worthy of the best Le Orme.

3.5 / 5 or 7/10 stars.
