The album Sparrows is a collaboration between classical french horn player and synthesist Detlev Everling and myself. It has been in the making since late 2009, and now - finally is completed and has been released on SynGate Luna on April the 26th. The overall mood is rather mellow, friendly and laid back (I think), however it also has some (slightly) darker and experimental moments, and one track which is a little more upbeat. Detlev''s contributions of both conventional and electronically processed french horn, my use of jew''s harp in one track, and the feature of female vocals in another gives this release a (hopefully) original twist... If interested, please also read this in-depth article /interview about this project in the excellent EM webzine Synth Caresses: there is an article about the album in an EM webzine called Synth Caresses - if You allow, I will redirect You there... ;-) http://synth-caresses.blogspot.de/2014/04/sparrows-bruckner-everling.html? You can purchase both the download version or the CD from SynGates Bandcamp page (and also preview most of the songs there in full): http://syngate.bandcamp.com/album/sparrows
