3 stars Two of the biggest aces of Eleventh House reunite on this swan album. In the absence of trumpets/saxophone and keyboards, focus is naturally on powerhouse guitar-drums and there is a lot of prowess to show. The results are mixed with 3 excellent fusion tracks, 2-3 disco inspired insipid tracks and the rest wandering in between.

The highlights are "Beneath the Earth" with powerful drumming and mighty rocking guitar, "Tranvested Express" with a surprisingly effective acoustic guitar, some hard rock a la Jeff Beck of this time, I like the acoustic guitar motive more, though. Chords are churned out like on a band. "High love" has a beautiful Oriental melody motive. The track is full of dynamics shifts, first rate acoustic guitar playing and very tank-sounding drums with fiercy solo. One of the best tracks by the tandem Mouzon-Coryell.

"Crystallization" is a typical late 70's straightforward guitar fusion, still quite listenable even though drumming is over the top, the same goes for "Rock'n'roll lovers".

Laughable tracks for such artists are "Get on up" with parody vocals, bland "Reconciliation".

Not a top album but corresponding to the times.
