Fragments of an Empire biography
FRAGMENTS OF AN EMPIRE is a post rock band formed in Graz, Austria by Daniel Gutmann (guitar), Werner Wohlgemuth (Bass/Keyboards/Synth), Klaus Wohlgemuth (guitar), and Armin Poglitsch (drums) in 2005. The band's music is very understated and atmospheric, giving it a very airy sound while maintaining a dark ambiance. Fans of bands such as BATTLESTATIONS and GODSPEED YOU! DARK EMPEROR would enjoy FRAGMENTS.

The band has released four albums, Fragments of an Empire in 2007, I've Never Left The House in Light Clothes Only, Now I'll Never Get Warm Again in 2009, an EP, Unspoken, in 2009, and Gimel in 2013.
