X IN SEARCH OF SPACE

3.5 stars really. This is definitely psychedelic space rock and I like it a lot, but it's relatively simple and I am having trouble thinking of this as a four star album. There are a lot of things to like here. Strange spacey noises mixed in with kool guitar riffs and some trippy lyrics. The drumming also fits in well with the whole mix. If you enjoy traditional pschedelic rock this is definitely worth acquiring. I really wish we could give half ratings, because this is better than your average 3 star album, but still not quite worth 4 stars in my books.
