THICK AS A BRICK

My favorite progressive rock album ever. Among many excellent competitors, I am more found of Thick As a Brick mainly because of the concept context related to this masterpiece of music. Ok, Close To The Edge comes really very close, for sure.

The music and the melody are also top notch, for sure the best the band had ever produced (and there are a lot of strong competitors in their discography). Lyrical contend, on the other hand, exceeds normality. Many people truly believed in the veracity of the context, considering the event of young boy Gerald Bostock winning a poetry prize and being dismissed by moral issues in his work contend as a real fact. In old times of difficulties with information availability it was not rare, but in this days of internet ruling everything it hardly would happen.

There are thousands of Thick As A Brick reviews here. It is some of the best assessed albums in this site, and it really deserves all of appraisal it got. Congratulations to them, and I hope to be able of performing more Jethro Tull´s reviews here, they are my favorite band of all times.
