5 stars One of those albums that hasn't aged, and more artists have cited as an influence than I could care to name. From the mind- boggling opening '21st Century Schizoid Man' to the closing lyrics of 'In the Court of the Crimson King', you'll enjoy every second, 'Moonchild' goes on a bit too long however, if jazzy improvisation is your thing, then it doesn't. My personal favorite is 'Epitaph'. The dark lyrics and arpegiated guitar work well as... well.. an epitaph for those whom have died, I think it's about the Vietnam War, 90% sure. This album is widely considered the first prog rock album by many (including me), and one of the best. It's only 5 songs, so i'd check it out if I were you.
