OVERGROUND MUSIC

I actually discovered this outstanding band by accident at a record store, i asked the owner to put an album from emerson lake and palmer, and he got the wrong cd ..thank god he did. I couldnt ask more, this is like dream theater but instead of distorsion you have violins and cellos! Is amazing!... These Guys are really great...Confess your Beauty instrumental part just knocked me down. I always thought classical music were boring...especially when they added flutes...the flutes part in after crying are so powerfull. You have a especial band using special instruments, very unique. Songs like European Things and Shining shows what symphonic progressive is all about. This is my favourite After Crying album, i've listened to it thousands of times and never get bored or found anything to criticize(maybe some lyrics arent at the level of the instrumental talent they have). Their music is complex and you have to be very open minded to appreciate their work, especially prog-metal fans like me.

I cant give this album less then 5 stars. The two previous reviews from this albums are definitely right.
