This album hasn't aged very well, I feel. It was quite a sensation when it first came out, but the album is thirty years old now and you can hear that too. Even Selling England sounds (technically) less dated than The Lamb, and compared to the Lamb it looks as if the band made some giant leaps forward to Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering (IMHO).
