Psicosuono biography
The female-fronted band PSICOSUONO were formed in Milan, Italy, in 2004, founded by their lead-vocalist Elisabetta Giglioli and guitarist Stefano De Marchi. The band are inspired by the international rock sounds of many acts of the Seventies, but create original songs that fuse a range of musical genres, incorporating everything from funk, pop, jazz, blues, soul and progressive rock sounds.

Since forming, Psicosuono have taken part in live music events and contests, as well as performing on local TV programs and both national and international radio shows. The Swiss independent label Ambrosiana produced Psicosuono's debut album `Aut Aut' in 2008, and the first videoclip `Iride' from the disc. 2013's self-produced follow-up `Eta Carinae' was released in both Italian and English language versions, and the concept work `Metropoli' was published in December 2017.

In the words of the band themselves, "`Metropoli' examines aspects that - for better or worse - unite the citizens of the world. It explores feelings and characters, contradictions and paradoxes, vices and virtues of the places where we live, in a fusion of colours, timbres, sounds and musicality that reflect the versatility of living in the modern world." With a eclectic BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO approach and lively sax in the vintage RPI tradition, Psicosuono blend in a punchy alternative rock sound that always holds plenty of proggy soloing and wild direction changes.
