PrototypeLAB biography
An Italian outfit PROTOTYPELAB were formed as a new musical project in the summer of 2010 by Andrea FENILI (guitars, voices), Stuart FRANZONI (drums, percussion), Emiliiano GUERRIERI (keyboards, synthesizers), and Dario TOMASINO (bass), inspired by authentic progressive rock scene and having experiences in lots of rock projects. They've gigged, sessioned, and composed in a small seaside town near Rome.

PROTOTYPELAB have already attended some of the most important musical festivals and contests in Rome just like Etruria Eco Festival / Etruria Indipendente in 2012-2013, CrossRoads Live Club in 2013, or Roma Comics in 2011. In 2015 they launched their debut album titled "Mea Culpa" where material was recorded from May 2014 until January 2015 upon their own.

In 2016 Emiliano and Dario decided to leave the band in order to focus their energy outside the band and were replaced by Gaetano SAVOCA (keyboards) and Giulio RIMOLI (bass). Unfortunately Gaetano soon left owing to a serious motorcycles accident but they could invite another new guitarist Fabrizio ANDREANI and a keyboardist Marco BERNI. In 2019 they signed a contract with Luminol Records and their debut creation "Mea Culpa" was re-released via the label upon April 5, 2019.
