A Lily Gray biography
A LILY GRAY is a progressive metal band founded in 2011 by 3 seasoned veterans of the Salt Lake City, UT music scene; Sunimal ALLES (guitar), David Lynn OLSEN (vocals) and Ben FRANK (drums). The trio developed a large cult following from live performances and soon released 2 EPs and recruited bassist Justin CLARK. FRANK eventually resigned and was quickly replaced by Brian WAITE.

The band began working on their debut album which was 3 years in the making. "Sirens" was eventually released in November of 2020. Their style is a unique alt-metal sound with plenty of progressive elements with a space-prog ambience. The band has been compared to bands like TOOL and DEFTONES, but they are committed to constantly pushing their sound forward. Their music should appeal to fans of THE PROGRESSIVE SOULS COLLECTIVE, PYRAMID THEOREM, SANGUINE HUM and THE RETICENT.
