Burnsred biography
An American atmospheric sludge metal band, Burnsred were formed in 2007 and are based in San Francisco. The original lineup consisted of guitarist/vocalist Robin Koytcheff (formerly of Agnosis), bassist/keyboardist Ryan MacArthur and a drummer known only as Andy, who would be replaced the following year by permanent member Kevin Conway.

Burnsred play doom/sludge/post-metal inspired by Neurosis, Burning Witch, King Crimson, Asunder and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The trio independently released their self-titled debut LP in 2011.
