An alias of London-based electronic musician Sam Mewett, L A N D S R A A D is a kosmische musik project and love letter to the first two novels of Frank Herbert's Dune saga and the 1984 David Lynch adaptation. Mewett composes cinematic instrumental pieces rooted in dungeon synth and combining Berlin School and synthwave characteristics.

Named after the imperial governing body of nobles from the Dune universe, L A N D S R A A D released the first of two concept albums, The Golden Path, in 2021, with its sophomore Fate; The Inevitability Thereof following over a year later.
