Llorah biography
Llorah were a short-lived atmospheric sludge metal band from Lyon, France, playing a noise rock-inspired blend of post-hardcore, sludge metal and post-rock. Influenced by Cult of Luna, Unsane, Breach, Tantrum and Knut, the impetus of the band began in 2003 by a group of ambitious, self-described nerds who knew each other through Internet message boards and live shows. Llorah's lineup finally stabilised in early 2005 around Pierre "Zozzal" Bozonnet (guitars) and a cast of mononymously-identified musicians known as Seb (guitars), Dom (bass), Paul (drums) and Choco (vocals).

Llorah recorded an eponymous four-track demo in summer 2006, later released in early 2007 as a limited edition compact disc EP through Bozonnet's label Atropine Records. The quintet split the following year with Dom and Paul's departure. Llorah's brief career will intrigue fans of labelmates Year of No Light and Caldera as well as Time to Burn, Einna, Appollonia and Asidefromaday.
