Diesto biography
DIESTO is a progressive metal band from Portland, Oregon consisting of Chris Dunn (guitar, vocals), Mark Bassett (guitar, vocals), Captain John (bass) and Scott Ulrich (drums).

DIESTO originally was a trio on their first two releases of which only Chris Dunn is the remaining member. Their debut album "Doomtown 7" was released in 2004 on Cobraside/Elastic and they released an EP "Outland" in 2006.

In 2007, DIESTO released their second full length album "Isle of Marauder" on Exigent Records.

WHY THIS BAND IS IN THE ARCHIVES:

DIESTO play a blend of psychedelic/stoner/sludge with dual vocals and should be a welcome addition to 5IVE, ISIS, UNSANE and JESUS LIZARD fans. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are very highly recommended.
