Meyvn biography
MEYVN is a progressive metal band from Austin, Texas consisting of Richard Clark (vocals), Drew Creel (guitars, keyboards), Ken Liao (bass), and Rueben Posey (drums). The band is currently looking for a second guitarist since Jon Simpson (guitar) left the band after recording their debut album.

MEYVN recorded and self released a six track demo "Last Rites" in 2004.

They released their debut album "Splintered Skies" on Killzone Records in 2006.

MEYVN is an aggressive form of progressive metal with shredding guitars and bass, pounding drums with powerful vocals. They are fast, intense, and heavy, but still melodic and catchy. They mix 70s progressive rock, metal, jazz, Latin style acoustic, and technical guitar work. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are highly recommended.
