The Gordon Grdina Trio biography
Canadian Guitarist/oudist Gordon Grdina is known by his interest to jazz,Arabic/Indian music and avant improvisations as well. Besides of his jazz/classic/world projects (groove trio Loose Acoustic, East Van Strings - strings quartet, playing mix of Classical and Arabic music, Arabic/Persian/Indian ensemble Sangha,etc) he founded The Gordon Grdina Trio (with Tommy Babin (bass) and Kenton Loewen (drums)) where he plays modern free-jazz related avant improves. The Trio has been a working touring ensemble since 2005.
