ANGEL EYES is a five-piece sludge / post-metal band from Chicago consisting of Bob, Brendan, Nader, Ryan and Todd. The band formed in 2003 and as of 2011, have released 2 full-length albums, and EP and 2 Split EPs.

The music consists of slow and drawn-out sludge-metal soundscapes with lots of atmospherics, creating a cinematic soundtrack ambiance with plenty of Western references that reminds of GRAILS. However, the hardcore shouts and blackish shrieks put the music in an entirely different category that will mainly be of interest to existing fans of atmospheric sludge metal.
