The Grand Silent System biography
THE GRAND SILENT SYSTEM was formed in 1999 in the Latrobe Valley area of Victoria, Autralia. The group consisted of Sean Jova ALBERS on vocals and percussion, Daniel Cabsby CALABRO on guitar and vocals, Ben Ramer REJMER on keyboards and vocals, Craig Larchi MORAN on bass, Ben Migz HELLMIG on drums, and Karen Kazz HEATH on clarinet, flute and saxophone.

After moving to Melbourne, the band attracted a large following for their blend of classical, rock, jazz, world music, and seventies-styled prog. Before they disbanded in 2006, they released an EP, They Who Built, and a full length CD, Gift Or A Weapon.
