Topic: Best King Crimson album Posted: November 09 2006 at 14:58 |
I personally think is ITCOTCk, is for me not only their best but THE best of 70's classic rock alongside Close to the edge, Relayer and Foxtrot

Easiliy ITCOTCK, with Larks' Tongues a close second, and Red third.

*shakes her head in frustration* The Search function! Why don't you use the Search function? This has been done to death... BTW, almost a tie between ITCOTCK and "Red"... I know someone will disagree on the latter, but I find it a masterpiece all the same . Voted for the former though, mainly for sentimental reasons... One of the very first prog albums I listened to in its entirety when a teenager.

A tie between ITCOTCK and Red. My vote goes for Red.

Islands for the win. The best KC album, closely followed by Lizard and Red.

In the Court of the Crimson King. I liked it a lot from the start while many of the others took a while to get into. While I love most of their work, ITCOTCK still stands a little higher over the others.

Lark's Tongue in Aspic is just amazing. Simply, the best King Crimson album and it still would be the best album if you took off everything except Lark's Tongue in Aspic Part One.

Larks Tongues. There is not a bad song on that album.
