Being a huge Penguins fan I had to eat a lot of humble pie last year from Red Wings fans.

^ hahaha. I've got 20 cyber dollars the Rangers don't even make the playoffs next year... an old team.. with little offense. Unless they have the next coming of Sid, or Ovie coming in next year. That style of play was enough 10 years ago... this league is now based on creating offense. The rules are geared towards that.

I actually havn't followed hockey for a few years I remember the Rangers being good, but that may have been 4 years ago

they were good. .and still are... but they simply don't have any punch. They play the same style the Devils did years ago...King Henrik is as good as Marty was.. but they just had no offensive punch.
as a Caps fan... it was plainly obvious the difference between the Rangers and a top team like the Penguins when you make mistakes in your own zone. With the Rangers... you could live with them... top teams kill you over those mistakes.
just ask the Red Wings about that today hahha.
