BRIGG      An obscure band from the town of Danville, Pennsylvania, who recorded one self-titled album on the equally obscure Susquehanna label. Brigg's independently-spirited band members said their album wasn't created for commercial gain, which is just as well, bearing in mind its limited pressing quickly disappeared without trace. although, in common with many albums buried deep in the psychedelic underground from over half a century ago, it's now been unearthed and given a well-deserved new lease of life on the Internet.

BREAKTHRU      A Brummie band who never quite managed to get their big breakthrough, having last been seen trying to navigate their way around Birmingham's Spaghetti Junction on Adventure's Highway - better-known to us all as the Aston Expressway.

BRASS MONKEY     It's brass monkey weather outside today, so why not stay inside and keep warm with the psychedelic sounds of Brass Monkey, an album of cover versions to listen to under the covers. 

Some say, the enormous cost of running a gas boiler to keep warm at today's prices is a bit like burning money, so let's find out with the Top Gear Team in their latest challenge. 

BOW STREET RUNNERS     A fuzz, acid and flowers band from Fayetteville in North Carolina, nicknamed after London's original Metropolitan Police Force, established in 1749. The  Bow Street Runners are a force to be reckoned with too, having produced a memorable psychedelicized masterpiece of all-original songs, complete with an LSD-inspired album cover which could only have come from the late-1960's flower-power hippy counter-culture. Yeah, far out dudes! 

BOREALIS      A Newfoundland band with an album that'll leave you feeling all aglow, Sons of the Sea has the distinction of being the first album of all-original material recorded in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, and with only 500 vinyl copies pressed, this ultra-rare album now sells for up to $750, but it's absolutely free to listen to right here on PA, as always. 

BODO MOLITOR     Hola amigos! Bodo Molitor was a German-born Mexican musician with a psychedelic album jam-packed full of international hits, featuring fuzzy guitars, a whirling Farfisa organ and gravelly vocals, and including cover versions of great songs by The Doors, The Beatles, Nina Simone, Wilson Pickett and a fair sprinkling of original compositions too. In other words, everything you could wish for and more besides in the best of the late 1960's flower-power era. Adios. 

BO GRUMPUS       A tour-de-force of Psychedelic Rock from Boston-based band Bo Grumpus, whose one and only album was produced by none other than Felix Pappalardi of Mountain, a Hard Rock band whom you may recall also featured man-mountain Leslie West.  

BLUES CREATION       Konichiwa! Prepare for a storming banzai blitz of fire and fury over Tokyo with Kazuo Takeda and Blues Creation. The band name was shortened to Creation from 1975 onwards when they were joined by Felix Pappalardi of Mountain, who was destined for a tragic end years later when he was shot dead by his wife in 1983.
