Checking on Ingo Bischof I learnt that another major German keyboarder, jazzer/jazz-rocker Wolfgang Dauner, has died 10 January at the age of 84. He is on a few albums listed on progarchives, United Jazz&Rock Ensemble among others. His own band Et Cetera is also listed here.
RIP!

Ouch! Great, great keyboarder! Very sad!

Reinert was one of most talented and overlooked prog drummers in all of rock. He was an equal with with the likes of Palmer, Bruford and the late Neil Peart and will be missed. RIP.

Only 48 years old. RIP, dude

What the hell?!?! 3 years younger than me and known to be pretty health conscious...drops dead of apparent cardiac arrest. I truly expected to hear him playing in projects until I was dead.

Will be spinning Gordian Knot and Human today. Hope it doesn't sound too selfish, but it would be nice to go a couple months w/o my playlist predicated on obituaries.

Godspeed Terry
What’s that you say?

I thought so

Joseph Hannesschläger.

https://s3-images.stol.it/_images/fit/759x427/img/2020/01/rosenheim-cop-joseph-hannesschlaeger-ist-am-montag-im-alter-von-57-jahren-gestorben.jpg
German actor best known for his role as Kommissar Korbinian Hofer in "Die Rosenheim Cops", a German cop show with lots of comedy elements (for example: there often is some bureaucratic sub-plot going on at the police station, and all female characters are blabbers spreading all kinds of rumors) that started 17 years ago and is still running. one running gag is secretary Miriam Stockl calling one of the cops and saying (in Bavarian dialect): "Es gabat a Leich" meaning "there is a corpse". he died Jan 20th. On another forum it has been confirmed by several. As well I read in other cities there were some road signs bidding him farewell....
So far (I think), Washington Post has put out 3 write ups about Neil. I read one last night from the Times-Picayune in New Orleans, it was a really nice article.

Also if you have not heard, Carl Palmer seems posted some thoughts and there was some question as to him being respectful of Neil. Then the interviewer re-posted with the questions and it makes it a bit better, but overall Carl did not come across well at all. LOL

I can post if people are interested.
