For those that don't know it -- personally, I (sorry for any tautology) don't like to vote in polls with limited choices before trying to check out the music -- this was one of my favourites from it:

It’s “L'Via L'Viaquez”.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Moonmadness. It was a quick click.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

They are both equally good to me. Moonmadness is just a bit more equal...

I strongly recommend you to hear it - prog like you've never heard it.

Paul and Mars Volta? LOL
You haven't paid much attention. Evil Smile
It may take me longer to reach The Mars Volta than it did to reach RW's The Red Planet recently. Smile

The Mars Volta may be prog like I've never heard it played before, but that's not necessarily a good thing. Tongue
This is for you to decide. I know it seems unlikely that you will be enjoying it right away but it's worth trying. Smile

The Mars Volta do absolutely nothing for me, whilst Moonmadness is in my top 5 albums of all time.

Frances The Mute. Scary and brilliant. Camel are very nice indeed but TMV would scare them off stage if there was ever a showdown (of sorts).
