One from this world:

Keys: Rick Wakeman
Guitar: Andy Latimer
Bass: Colin Bass
Vocals: Annie Haslam
Drums: Carl Palmer

One from the other:

Keys: Keith Emerson
Guitar: Jimi Hendrix
Bass: Chris Squire
Vocals: David Byron
Drums: Clive Brooks

The first is less likely than the second

But I'd also like this:

Drums: Christian Vander
Cello and various stuff including keys: Thierry Zaboitzeff
Guitar: Angel Ontalva
Bass: Tony Levin
Tuba: Lars Andreas Haug
Vocals: Nina Hagen
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Hi,

I was thinking that the late Vivian Stanshall would be the ultimate on vocals ... or shall we say "vibes"?

And we need a new version of "We're Normal" ... and we dig Burt Weenie! At least it won't be from the Marquis de Sade/Jean Paul Marat play ... where it was "we're normal, and we want our freedom". Too political for PA!!!

But for a band? Hmmm ... Tom Lehrer on vocals, of course (Poisoning Pigeons At The Park ... with music by Chicago)

The Clams for comedy effect and don't tell Tony Levin about it! Close To You, of course!

Spike Jones on brass arrangements and noises that can't be discussed on PA ... they are rude, unless done by RW! And Mike won't list them on his lists!

PDQ Bach on kazoos

Spike Milligan walking backwards for Christmas with socks full of custaaaaard!

That Kovacs guy on video is an absolute must, so it can be shown on the toob and on the old MTV ... the milk will run sideways! Or maybe upwards!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Bob Newhart - lead vocals, flute
Jean Stapleton - lead vocals, keyboards
Abe Vigoda - drums, trombone, vocals
Ron Palillo - guitars, vocals
Barry Williams - guitars, vocals
Eve Plumb - bass guitar, vocals
Dirk Benedict - xylophone, marimba
Joyce DeWitt - saxophone, trumpet
Norman Fell - spoken poetry, various household items

While on tour, they would have Helen Wiggin on a second drum kit. That would be cool.

Alan Alda on pennywhistle & nail file!

And how about the incomparable Derek Guyler on washboard?

Has to be 2 guys to start with
Keith Emerson - Keys
Richie Blackmore - Guitars

After that I'm not sure what I would want. If we are goimg full on 'rock' then
John Bonham - Drums
John Entwistle - Bass

Vocals could be any number of guys. I'm not so bothered and there is no band I love just for vocals. I do like John Wetton a lot but maybe I might go for a weird left field choice such as Bryan Ferry but neither are heavy enough. Perhaps Ozzy Osbourne at his peak but I think I would utlimately plump for Ian Gillan. Great set of pipes and an excellent range. So

Ian Gillan - Vocals
Ritchie Blackmore - Guitars
Keith Emerson - Keys
John Entwistle - Bass
John Bonham - Drums

yep think I've nailed it!

Patrick Moraz did such an excellent job on the jazz/fusion inspired Relayer, I would love to see what he could accomplish with this lineup.

A 70’s who’s who of creepy characters . (Except for Joyce Dewitt, who would probably be better suited fore playing the Bone a phone).

All but one are deceased. And even if this was not so, I doubt if this would work out fine.

It won't be a supergroup till you add Barbara Dennerlein on Hammond and Jan Hammer on Rhodes and synths.
