Vanden Plas is as much Prog as say Dream Theater. Since you're from Germany, be sure to check out GB Arts, Rough Silk and Superior |

I own every VP album, and I think they are quite good, although some of the prog ayatollahs usually bash them. I would define them as melodic metal with prog elements rather than pure progressive, and I really feel Andy Kundz's voice is unusual and tastefu
