I always believed and still do that The Lovers is a long track with vocals and Heirophant starts quiet and builds up,. I may be wrong but I have stuck to this belief.

Oh yes, on the vinyl the track division is where the quiet bit begins.

But the lyrics on the sleeve are under the title heirophant which I assumed at the time was a printing error.

Because of another thread here (the Wind and Wuthering poll) I checked Voyage of the Acolyte on Wikipedia and found this on the talk page:

PA says that The Lovers lasts for 1:50, while Shadow … lasts for 11:44. I am unable the help the poster, but maybe some of you can sort things out? Notice that he asked the question only a couple of months ago, so I’m  sure he’s still eager for an answer.
