Give the guy a break he is tone deaf. And still brilliant.

Bobby Fripp-Guitars
Adrian Belew-Guitar, Vocals
Tony Levin-Bass, Stick, Synth, Backing vocals
Pat Mastelotto-Drums and stuff
Why? Because this would be a nice and electronic Crimson, and their best moments tend to be quite nice and electronic.

Check out my audio interview here on the PA with David Cross and I think you find Cross corrects me  naming the lyric writer Richard Palmer-James - has some nice lyrics on Cross' s latest Closer Than Skin

Oops, that's right.  I don't know where "Cross-Palmer" came from!
Cheers!

Greg Lake - Vocals
Wetton - Bass
Bruford - Drums
Fripp - Guitar
Adrian Belew, Vocals, Guitar

The band would have Lake and Belew alternating on the singing. I like Greg Lake's singing very much, but he is not better or worse than Adrian Belew, as I love 80's King Crimson. Hell, I love everything that Belew has done with them.

I've read in a book about robert fripp that when he just began playing he was tone deaf and lacked any sense of rythm.

The best line-ups are the double trio\ larks' tongues line ups.

So you haven't read the book on the subject of RF's tuning, and how the likes of the Californian Guitar Trio  are disciples................

Are you ... INSANE ?? That was so ridiculous that it wasn't even funny !

I read somewhere that Fripp is actually tone deaf.

Then why dosn't Fripp get someone to tune his guitar for him?

Because the man is a fu**in GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS WHY!

Progger you need to get over this Fripp hating thing.....just accept most other proggers adore him.  Hes abarasive and annoying at times but definately worth more than a dozen guitarists today in terms of originality and technique......he does need a good songqriter in tow though....

Yeah, I just realized that.  I was going by the Lizard album...pretty sure he plays electric keys on that one.

Yeah, I think that's the only album I have with him on it where he plays electric keys.  Still, a keyboard wizard though and HIGHLY underrated.
