There are lots of bands which make concept albums, and there have been a lot of threads about them on PA, but are there bands/artists which ONLY make concept albums? I only know two: The Alan Parsons Project and Ayreon.
Do you know any other 100% concept bands / artists?

I wouldn't call Actual Fantasy a concept album - although it's close.
The only band that I can think of is Coheed & Cambria ... they only released concept albums, and they are all part of one continuing story.

coheed and cambria are the most annoying sounding band ever, his voice makes me want to throw up
they are 100% emo
|
they arent really emo at all...
His voice sucks, his music sucks...But that doesnt make it emo.
And whether they are emo or not, they still are a Concept Band

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Pain of Salvation? I couldn't be sure, though. Magma are the most obvious though I'd say.

Early Gong were a concept band too. And Hawkwind are a concept band also, with their music always up in SF/fantasy stuff. I love early Gong. A band like that takes you completely into an other world. They were unique, and very eclectic. I had the pleasure of seeing them live a few years ago. That was still great.
I never listened to Hawkwind. Perhaps I should . I never thought I would love "space"-bands, but Gong proved me wrong, though they were a league of their own. The same is true for Hawkwind, I suppose . At least, from what I heard about them...

Most of what Glass Hammer produces is concept in nature.
I like most of their output (The Middle Earth Album takes a little getting used to).
