2. Slayer - reign in blood
3. Coroner - punishment for decadence
4. Megadeth - peace sells... but who's buying?
5. Death - Symbolic
6. Kreator - Terrible Certainty
7. Iron Maiden - number of the beast
8. Nuclear Assault - Handle with care
9. Metallica - master of puppets
10. S.O.D. - Speak english or die!

They're 10 of my favourites.

1. Slayer - Reign In Blood (The only perfect album ever made IMO)
2. Meshuggah - Catch 33. Don't know if this counts
3. Cryptopsy - None So Vile (Slit Your Guts is classic!)
4. Metallica - Master of Puppets.
5. Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia.
6. Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss
7. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone (The definitive stoner metal album.)
8. Death - Symbolic
9. Meshuggah - Chaosphere
10. Toss up between Emperor, Candlemass, another Metallica, Cathedral and more.

I included a few Prog Metal albums in there, but they are on the bondaries and are basically Heavy Metal.

5 - Annihilator - Never, Neverland

7 - Metallica - either Master of Puppets or Ride The Lightning
9 - Opeth - Still Life
10 - Obliveon - Nemesis
