When it looked like Brazil were going out of the Copa America, the post saved them.

Bad luck to Uruguay, really.

yo sorry if im interrupting this long epic thread

but i was just wondering, does anyone here have an account or play/use Fantasy Football:

i joined a league with my friends last year and it was prob the most addicting thing ever, so good and fun

if theres enough peeps on here that have a team etc. i was wondering why not make a new league?

and to those who are a footy fan (or maybe not even) i defo recommend to make a team, you'll be addicted in no time and be lovin it

i remember even last year for me, i hadnt watched football in years, so i just did it for a laugh, and for the first few weeks i didnt really know much of the players etc. yet i still managed to do well, eventually it kept getting me more and more interested so now im back to watching bits of footy and keeping up to date with things, but it just shows ya dont have to have the biggest knowledge of footy to play, sure even one of my friends whos the biggest footy fan came last in the league and he prob knew most about everything

so yeah, anyone interested?

Right now the Romanian league champions DINAMO are playing the 1st leg of the 3rd qualifying round for the Champions League with Lazio, at Rome. The score is 1-0 for Dinamo. You go boys! ClapNuke

Here's the superb goal by Ionel Dănciulescu: http://www.gsptv.ro/index/id/6006

Steaua has the easiest way possible. After eliminating polish champion Zagłębie Lubin (Ouch) they only have to beat BATE Borysów from Belarus.

EDIT: the goal is indeed lovely! ClapClap

I haven't seen the matches with Zaglebie (these are the only times I regret not having a TV set), but I've read all about them. From what I learned Zaglebie is an excellent team, lacking only the experience and efficacy that comes from it, which Steaua has both. (And indeed the draw for the 3rd round was the best possible Star) I also read that Zaglebie's boss is a wealthy man, I'm sure if he keeps investing the team will become euro-eligible in a few years, like happened with Steaua, too.

Lazio had one chance to set the scores even, they were correctly given a penalty kick but Dinamo's goalkeeper is in top shape! No wonder he's the national team's goalkeeper, too. Smile

Man U loses in the Man C. derby today! Who thought Man Utd would be sitting on 2 points from a possible 9! Tongue

But... Lehman gifted Rovers the point...... Cry Two clusmy plays in the last 3 games, I wonder if he's gonna be like another Fabien Barthez! I hope not, since we got 4 points out of a possible 6 so far! Can't be pleased enough, except the two awful mistakes.....

OMG Sheff Utd have made GREAT signings this offseason. James Beattie, Stelios, Naysmith, Lee Hendrie. And Bryan Robson is a great manager. We should be getting promoted this season, althouhg 1/6 points is a bad start.

Polish football has still a mountain to climb to get on a par with the average European level. However, the lamentable policy of our sports authorities, the behaviour of our pseudo-supporters and the way our sports facilities look cannot be matched by any other European country... These are the only things we really exel in... Oh yhat really makes me puke..
ClapClapClap Put your hands together for Poland...

You never know with Mandaric, Allen could be back in a year. Strange though, signing all of those players and not having a change to build a team with them.

^^^ I know...a lot of people are tipping Warnock...I personally hope not, and I seriously can't see him getting on with Mandaric (who seams to want to be manager himself...)

I'm personally hoping for Chris Coleman, but I think that may be a long shot.....Disapprove

Was there a Derby County fan around? Hey, what is your team doing? They mistook the match against Liverpool to a tennis match. And they lost all games in set... LOL
