It's amazing what can be pulled off with television. You still think it's our fault that we are causing 'Global Warming' ??  You know they teach the children in school now that Global Warming is a fact and it is still only a theory. A theory that is so full of holes that they have no business teaching it as fact let alone telling the children that it's because there are too many of us humans on this planet. More nonsense from your masters. People have got to start waking up.

The last president that wanted to change things was J.F.K. and we all know what happened to him. I'm sorry, but it really does not matter who wins because they all work for the same people. The Military Industrial Complex in conjunction with the overlords who are in non govt. organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations, The Builderburg Group, The Club Of Rome etc etc., none of which are voted in by the way, set the agenda. ^ as I posted in another thread...  I think the only way Obama loses is if he loses it.  The way he handled himself and Hillary's vicious attacks bodes well for the general election.  IF we know anything at all.. the Right in lieu of substantive issues.. knows how to play the politics of personal destruction.  The thing is.. Hillary already brought out what there is to be dug out.  If they go further.. they will make the ignorant among their followers happy.. and completely turn off the sensible middle.

as I posted earlier again.... age.. not race may well be the decisive factor for those who go into the election cycle not having had their minds mind up... ie.  independents and the vast middle between the entrenched left and right.  People want change.. and there is no way McCain can sell  that... look at Hillary.. she couldn't. She..with McCain.. is part of the culture that the American people seem to want change from!

True, the word has too many nuances... by the way, was it Sweden where people protested against LOWERING the income tax about a year ago? It would require to discontinue some social programs but they wanted to keep their entitlements

I'm only pointing out that it feels strange. Admittedly, we have strong collectivism leanings, it's just that socialism is such a loaded word, meaning different things for different people.

I had mentioned the Iceland supermarkets only because it was quite amazing to compare with our 24-hour chains. I never heard of your poor work ethics in connection to supermarkets, but it would not surprise me that work ethics generally deteriorate under socialism as I've already stated there is little incentive and lots of temptation. But I still don't get it how I generalized it.

I was thinking about the supermarket thing and our work ethics. Recently a study here in Sweden showed that those cheating were far less than what anyone anticipated. Can't speak how that number stands in comparison to that in the US, though. Just got a little irritated (sorry for that) because we get to hear so much about our poor work ethics, our last election was filled with it, and I've never seen proof of it. Which the study underlined.
