I'm listening to my morning radio program out of Milwaukee and Favre has this thing locked up if he and Rodgers has to compete for the starting position.

Still, I think this whole thing was a joke. After Favre's big blubber fest in March where he basically poured snot all over the mic from crying. He just came off looking like a total flake! He's talking about how the Packers aren't 'preserving his legacy' by making him a back-up, but he tainted his legacy when he started flaking more than a Bob Evan's butter biscuit.

Everyone is Cheddarville are pretty damn happy this morning, though.

They could also use an offensive line or two.

I'm visiting Giants training camp tomorrow.  In addition to watching drills and practice, we're going to eat lunch and possibly dinner with the players.  We did it last year and it was awesome, I bet it will be even better this year, with the team still carrying the energy of being SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!

When you cry at your retirement news conference you shouldn't be allowed to come back...

Could he?  Would he?  Should he?

Well I suppose the Falcons could use a reliable quarterback for at least one more season.

Definitely don't let 'em go.  Honestly, while the Giants have plenty of solid wide receivers, Plax is the only one I would call great.  They should trade Shockey, though.  They did well all season with Kevin Boss, and Shockey is far to expensive and disruptive to keep around when he isn't even significantly more valuable than his replacement.  Put him on the market and get that safety or will linebacker you need.

Ahhhh yes...now the battle of the bluffs ensue

Player says he will not participate until he gets a new contract
Team will say: we won't give you a new contract
And wait for the first one to blink LOL

Shockey is b*tching (like always)
And now Plaxico is not gunna play until he gets a new contract

I say let em both go. They've proven they can do fine without Shockey, and Plaxico is important (and id like to see him stay) but they could live without him. They can always move David Tyree up now, and work in Mario Manningham

I absolutely loathe Oprah, but my wife recorded her show with Buffalo Bills TE Kevin Everett, who (if you remember) suffered a broken neck on the first game of the season. Absolutely phenomenal that he's walking. If you get a chance, watch it.

Yea, I think it was great pick for the Giants, and no doubt a steal.
40 times are nothing really. You can run a 4.2 and flop but run a 4.7 (I believe Jerry Rice did something like that) and well....
As for marijuana as long as he stops so he won't get suspended  I dont really care

Still dissapointed the G-men didn't take Dan Connor...........But I can't say they've done a bad job.
Personally, I never heard of the first 2 guys, but the secondary could use any help they can.
And Mario Manningham, good choice IMO

Sort of hoping we'd go after a QB, but with Matt Ryan already gone then I guess it stands to reason we address the defense....you know....SINCE WE TRADED THE BEST PASS RUSHER IN THE LEAGUE!!!

With Washington and Philly taking receivers and tight ends it's not surprising that Dallas and NY are loading up on defensive backs!  The footballs will be flying in the NFC East this fall!

I'd like to see the Cowboys grab up a few offensive line prospects and a backup QB during today's session.

The draft analysts don't seem thrilled about the specific defensive backs that the G-Men picked, but then again last year the draft analysts didn't like the Giants' draft picks and they had more contributions from their draftees than any other team.

Giants taking d-backs so far.

No surprise there, though they also could use an outside linebacker.

I cant believe Dan Connor hasn't been taken yet!
As for Felix Jones...he is a good back, although Mendenhall is a beast, IMO I would've taken him over McFadden even.

I hope Dallas doesn't end up regretting taking Felix Jones over Mendenhall at running back.  I think they might.  But they got a steal in Mike Jenkins, the savvy cornerback from South Florida.  The kid's a terrific cover corner.  I'm not happy that Devin Thomas fell to the Redskins in the 2nd round, though.

Is it just me or are the Cowboys getting Pacman Jones for basically nothing?
