What's up folks? Big prog fan here. I've been known to enjoy an episode or two of Star Trek too

| Wouldn't be a play on "Spock's Beard," would it?

Hmm, I think the right path would be this: Dream Theater Iron Maiden Spock's Beard Transatlantic The Flower KingsKamelot Fates Warning Opeth Megadeth Shadow Gallery Pagan's Mind Savatage Symphony X Redemption ...BTW, KirksNoseHair have you heard The Tangent? Or Karmakanic(I haven't but it has bass player of Tangent and Flower Kings and many others which would interest you)

Replying to the question a couple of posts up: Yes, I've heard of The Tangent and I have their CDs and enjoy them. I've also heard of and own all of the CDs ever released by Karmakanic - I think their latest CD "Who's The Boss In The Factory" is easily their best work to date......Jonas Reingold is probably my favorite bass player in prog. The dude has octopus hands For a more complete picture of what I listen to, you can see my entire CD list (which is still missing probably about 100 CDs that I just haven't had time to add to the list) here on my website: http://www.kirksnosehair.com/AboutMe/MyCDList/tabid/56/Default.aspx
