I'm confused. But then again, I don't frequent the main forum often enough.

If I didn't like it, surely that's just because of my individual taste and that I just didn't find it appealing, rather than on the basis that I reject music out of 'snobbery'?

Of course it is... It is actually the abbreviation of the Latin sine nobilitate (=without nobility), meaning somebody who had a kind of inferiority complex because of their lack of 'blue blood'.

There are various ways of communicating that you don't like a band.  One way is to say that you don't like a band or that it is not your thing.   The other way is to say "My god, it was goddamn boring".

BTW, you are misunderstanding my point.  I could give a rat's ass whether you like the music of a band like that or not.  My problem is with your attitude towards the bands or music that you don't like.

Don't get me wrong Harry I am only singling that comment out because it irked me and because you are part of the conversation.  You are not the worst offender and you are not the only offender.

I say we keep the name until the end of the thread.
In honor of the man who lives near two supermarkets.

Well, in the street where I lived in Rome there were something like eight banks - two of which in my buildingConfused.

"Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite—a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes—are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern".

According to Wikipedia.

But I really don't myself seriously at all. I'm pretty sure a lot of my posts reflect this and if anyone gets offended by me saying "My God, it was goddamn boring" they are just taking me too seriously, because to me it's just the kind of way I might speak in real life in a not particularly serious manner.
I'm not particularly intelligent (I'm a high school drop out), I'm not wealthy (I live in a rather average working class suburb), not particularly talented at anything.
In fact, I don't think there is anything particularly special about me.
Average run of the mill kid sitting at computer does not seem to equate to elitist.

Can't beat the overall number, but three of the four banks are in my building.

Probably because there are two supermarkets that took the other available spots...
