Also, the new Mew album is pretty good, even if it isn't nearly as dark and epic-feeling as Glass Handed Kites was.

As far as El Cielo goes (Pat and Rico)...
It's a lot to sink my teeth, er, ears into, although I can definitely see why the band is in Crossover. The singing is a tad grating and boring occasionally, but overall the music is very good. For a first impression, I'd give it a 3 or 4.
Suffice it to say, I can't wait to hear it again (and to be fair, this was a listen where the son was acting up and the wife was complaining about me getting dinner started).
