I don't hear any dissonance or avant-ness in any of the songs on their Myspace. It just sounds like light chamber jazz (and although I'm not a fan I don't mean that pejoratively) with the ghost of Frank Zappa's xylophone.

Merzbow is not interesting to watch live. He had two Macs on stage plugged into a couple of things with knobs, there and I saw him fumbling with a stack of CDs in his lap towards the end, and I kind of want to know what was on them. But for the rest of the set it was visually indistinguishable from him checking his email on stage. I said hi to him afterwards but he was clearly not interested in talking to me, I guess after 30 years of noise you just don't give a f**k. I also thought it was funny that Pinhas brought 19 different CDs and 5 vinyls and Merzbow didn't bring anything at all. All but one were Cuneiform and they were all priced the same as on Wayside, so you were only saving on the shipping, so I only got the Merzbow/Pinhas CD from 2008 and Pinhas' newest CD from 2010 that has Merzbow and a few other people on it. And I got a free small poster but seriously who cares. I also bought a $10 CD from each of the opening acts, I wasn't extremely impressed with them on-stage but I feel I should support local avant-garde music in some way.

But it was good musically?

I liked most of it, it was pretty noisy. Pinhas also had a lot of loops and effects going, there was sometimes so much going on I couldn't really hear all of it. I could see him playing something on the guitar but I couldn't tell what result that had on the sound, lol.

That's sad, but there is a small part of me that is curious as to what it would be like to watch it happen. Yeah they are kind of dumb.

I imagine it would be pretty horrifying. I don't know why they didn't just nudge the dumb young ones out of the way.
This is from their album Keio Line, Merzbow even did the lasergun pulsing thing in my show, lol.

Basically, it all burned. LOL I think that it was due to someone burning garbage. It was windy today and must have blown into the racks of wood we have next to the shed, which in turn eventually lit the shed on fire. It nearly jumped to the garage, luckily it didn't because of it's proximity to the house, it scorched the corner pretty good and melted off all the siding, but it's still structurally sound. I was all O_O, but then waiting for the firefighters to hurry up and get it out I was

Well I'm going to go to bed now, and I think I'm not going to kill myself because I could never top this. Look at the website, it's ridiculous.

So a neighbor accidentally set it on fire?

"What suicide note would be complete without a bibliography?" That takes dedication. I still have no idea why he did it in the first place.

Nah, probably us. We do burn crap all the time. It's also a very common cause of fire out here, according to some dude with a moustache.

I am listening to music.  I just helped my friends confuse people on Omegle for a while, but that got boring.

Omegle is pretty boring, I agree.  My friend had his webcam set up though, and when we actually got people rather than crotches it was fun to do confusing stuff.  I also had a very spontaneous discussion in the hallway between our rooms when I decided to randomly slide out into it...some guy was coming back to his room with his girlfriend and they thought I was funny, but the girl wouldn't accept the fact that it's technically morning.
