And the "I believe I came from God" part of his statement is another way of saying "I don't know where I came from" which, religious views aside, is a reasonable conclusion.

Bill Maher loves to make people look stupid so he looks smart (the same with all political comentators or comedians). In this case, he succeeded in a major way. I believe in evolution, 100%, but I also believe in letting people explain why they have such ridiculous views. Certainly, this guy has been blinded by religion. And all people laughing at him have been blinded in this nice attempt to make every single religious person look like a fool.

You have to be careful with the dichotomy of "Science or Religion." On the surface, it is a false one; one can obviously believe in both religion and science. However, there are instances when it is a true dichotomy. For example: Belief in evolution and belief in a literal Adam & Eve. One can't have both.

In short: You have to do some tap-dancing if you want to accept both religion and science.
