Where do our thoughts about it differ? Some songs have rather generic lyrics whilst some are much more Hammillian and will need digesting. I was put off by Rico's negativity on the first listen but on a second listen it sounded much better. The last track's ending is classic VdGG.

Surprisingly good actually. I liked it.
Some of it is a bit naff but it's certainly better than Trisector and even better than the last part of Present (excluding the excellent Every Bloody Emperor and Nutter Alert and maybe In Babelsberg as well).
It's different though. So don't expect classic VdGG.
I'm still not sure about the lyrics (not the vocals, they're excellent). I'll read the lyrics in the booklet later. The musicianship is awesome though. Some of them even sound avant at times.

This is almost exactly how I felt.

Why am I even arguing about some sh*tty Animal Collective lyrics anyway? Not even the fans know what they're singing about.

I know but that's not an official site.
I'll go with Dolby Set.

I was pointing out the fact that even on a website like that the fans are arguing about the whole slats vs. slabs thing.

If that is true, I'll put it down to watching a Magma video before.
But Kevin, he said it was a boner kill...
Ah never mind.

When you're anticipating the full-length from a band as amazing as Ever Forthright, any sort of album news can be boner inducing.
