Forgot to mention, I'm not sure where you are from, but the game didn't receive a North American release. If that's where you're from, the only options are to import or find other means ![]() Edited by Repner - March 06 2011 at 14:35 |

I am from the states, but the game was available online on Amazon for the longest time, probably just used imported copies. I will acquire my own cart one day!

Tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe and he'll believe you. Tell him a bench has wet paint on it and he'll have to touch it to be sure.

Anyone remember Skull Monkeys for the Playstation? A really challenging platformer with excellent claymation, and some of the funniest and well-executed game music written. Here is a compilation of themes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8cHcS9ZBsw
Stewart Copeland of the Police did a lot of soundtrack work for games and TV. Here are excerpts from the Spyro the Dragon series: (I recommend 'the Equalizer and other Cliffhangers for his best soundtrack work, though) If you were into NES and 8-bit music, check out the Advantage, another band that covers these tunes:

Have you guys heard of Armcannon? They should be on this site to be honest... awesome covers of retro songs (a couple of t.v ones as well).
Also, The OneUps; |

I love the MegaMan music. Very jazz-fusion. I've even figured out how to play some of it on piano. The music for the original Double Dragon was also great.

Not many video game music can stand against Diablo 2 (and LOD of course) music. Terrific dark guitar work of Tristram, deep tribal ambient of Jungle theme, classical type Act V town music, even there are some fillers, like music in hell.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

The original Deus Ex main theme/UNATCO themes are pretty untouchable. Fable had an awesome soundtrack too. Metal Gear Solid as a series has some killer stuff too. My favourites:
The Playstation Spyro titles also had some amazing stuff which is always good for a nostalgia blast. |

Every time I think about some of the music on those MS-DOS games, it just really makes me perplexed about the fate of prog. A lot of sissy prog-like music went to be used as soundtracks for those games. The soundtrack for Doom makes me think about Soft Machine's "Facelift", the bit from Spaced where the cymbal part intertwines with the electric piano part.
