I think you can modify the rating to a value that you consider more appropriate even without writing a review. Clicking on the stars below the album thumbnail after having logged on should be enough

someone have just rated the Hunter before the album is even released, and that certain person gave it a 5 without even knowing what it sounds like.
i think it is ileagal to rate an album which havent been out in the marked yet, the release date is 27th of August, it is a month adead in the future, (I know some lucky souls have had the pleasure of sneak listenings, the band is known for let some people hear the albums so they can get feed back, like Brann Dailor lett Mike Portnoy take a sneak peak on Crack the Skye before it was released just to get an other guys opinion about it; but it should not be allowed to rate a album before the release date, that does not feel right to me) |

If we have albums added before the release date untimely ratings and even reviews are inevitable.
I propose to delete such additions.

Some reviewers have promotion deals with labels and receive albums months before their official release. Itīs part of the labels promotional stragedy to make people aware of an albumīs existence before the official release date. I seem to remember that PA doesnīt allow this though. Am I right?

Notwithstanding your misgivings re the 1 star reviews, and call it a wild stab in the dark if you like but just maybe this guy has a predilection for experimental/post metal perchance?

^^^ yeah, he just rates obsessively and pretends to hate what we all like. Sadly does not really like prog in this case. Too many of these jokers are growing here. I just wish they could justify their loathing for classic well loved prog albums- 1 star means worthless - and how can you call gems such as Tull's Stand Up or Bubu's album worthless? It cant be taken seriously, this unintelligent type of attacking with 1 star.

Because it's a stupid thing. I don't know why people should waste his time by rating albums without having any weight. Well I waste my time by writing reviews....thinking better probably it's because they contaminate our favorite toy.
