It's this one, the thing is that he obviously registered only to bring the album down.
It's not THAT important for this album will probably have a lot of rates, but it's just useless.

As you are all clearly aware, it doesn't contravene the review guidelines but yes, why did Gustavo Lopez MD join the site in 2007 and lurk silently for this album to appear 4 years later just to trash it? We can but pray he attends to the sick and infirm a tad more speedily.

It's this one, the thing is that he obviously registered only to bring the album down.
It's not THAT important for this album will probably have a lot of rates, but it's just useless.
That users has put his name/surname in the registration and this is not obligatory. It's more likely that he has just written that review without reading the guidelines and without a clear idea of what a review is for. I don't see any bad intention, really.  When he writes "is everything less prog rock , is boring, at moments noisy" he is giving an opinion about the music that the album contains. 
I haven't listened to it and I can't judge. What I suggest is PM him if you think and express your concerns. He wrongly suspects that somebody is linked to the label or is exchanging favors with the artist. You suspect that he joined only to bring an album down.

I personally think that you both are wrong. Try to clarify between yourselves then report any abuse if you find one.

I too have joined the site in 2006 and I have waited some time before attempting to write a review. My first attempts have been poor and sooner or later I'll rewrite my first ones.
I have rated a couple of albums with 1 star without saying in a clear way why.

I've been PM by an admin who told me that one of my reviews had been removed and transformed into rating only and he explained me why, then I've rewritten it.

I didn't personally know the artists (I would have known them as they were GTR Wink) and I didn't have any reason to bring down an album like that. The only difference with Gustavo Lopez MD is that GTR was already down even without my review.

This happened in 2007, now there are more than 500 reviews written by me on PA.

No sweat Iain. I wasn´t sure if I should PM him myself, it just looked like an honest mistake - and judging by his review carrier - I´d be surprised if he´d misheard an entire classic of a folk album for RPITongue The language tends to give those Italian wise guy proggers away...

You haven't heard this album and obviously this user hasn't neither, or maybe a quick skim through a download.
I've been listening twice a day now and i've yet to detect any 'noise' on this album.
Besides, this one remark is the only sentence in that whole review that says anything about the album at all.

This sort of reviews are pathetic.

I agree with you, but my first review of GTR written when I was a newbie wasn't better than this.

Also, note that a lot of people may legally have Haken's album (probably not that person though) because it was sold at their gig for ProgPower USA a couple weeks ago.

im probably not the best judge of propriate reviews but these reviews give me an itch in th wrong place,. is it me or are these reviews just insane rambeling (and im not saying this becouse i disagree with him, but his reasons for the low ratings are just insane)
